Over the period of time, it has been observed that organisations that have built the learning capability through constant focus on various processes (manufacturing and employees), which are dynamic in nature and changing from time to time due to various factors and draws on an array of professional skills and personal qualities. The structures, processes and procedures adopted by organisations encourage and support personal growth among individuals and groups to share insights and experiences and new learning to capture 'new' knowledge and understanding (Teare and Pantin, 2002). This process demands the creation of effective organisational learning mechanisms (Mitki and Herstein, 2011) to obtain a competitive advantage. The case study described how Ethan Private Ltd's, an Indian design, sales and manufacturing company, top management decided to adopt a new strategy through organisational learning mechanism to strengthen the vision, purpose, structure, practices and climate of the organisation inside and outside.
