The catalyst was used for the partial oxidation of cyclohexane in a Parr type reactor. It was found that Pt-Sn supported on MWCNTs can act as an efficient catalyst for the partial oxidation of cyclohexane into cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone, generating both in a high yield under mild reaction conditions.
