This book presents edited version of papers which highly experienced group of educators, who have specialised in evaluating varied aspects of curriculum policy, design development and implementation, read at a British Council sponsored seminar whose participants participants came from many different countries. The subjects covered include the newer movements found in the United Kingdom: institutional self evaluation, action research, national performance testing and national guidelines for school review, as well as longer established ideas and procedures, including the role of examinations and of agencies such as the Schools Council.
