Tax laws in Zimbabwe are often confusing and sometimes seem arbitrary owing to an economy characterised by volatility, policy inconsistence, currency-driven inflation and multicurrency environment. Accountants , tax practitioners and citizens at large struggle to understand the complex tax system of Zimbabwe. It is against this background that the book was designed with the aim to simplify complex tax legislation for all to understand. This book endeavoured to extensively cover the Zimbabwean tax system, with more than ten tax heads covered and the main provisions of seven out of ten active tax acts.
