Summary, etc. Pt-Sn supported on MWCNTs were synthesized and characterized by SEM, EDX, XRD, XRF and surface area and pore size analyzer. The catalyst was used for the partial oxidation of cyclohexane in a Parr type reactor. It was found that Pt-Sn supported on MWCNTs can act as an efficient catalyst for the partial oxidation of cyclohexane into cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone, generating both in a high yield under mild reaction conditions.
